Creating Your Account
Welcome to GuardedContent! Creating an account is quick and free.
Download the app at https://guardedcontent.com/downloads
Click Create Account
Enter in the relevant details
Click Create Account.
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link to activate your account.
Note: If you don't see the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
Once verified, you'll be redirected to your feed and can start exploring content right away.
Verifying Your Email
After signing up, you will receive a verification email from GuardedContent.
Open the email from [email protected].
Click the Verify Email button or paste the link into your browser.
You'll be taken back to the app with your account now fully activated.
Didn't receive the email?
Check your spam or promotions folder.
Make sure you entered the correct email address during signup.
From the login screen, click Resend verification email to get a new link.
If issues persist, contact support at [email protected].
Logging In and Authentication
To log in:
Download the app
Enter your email address and password.
Click Sign In.
If your account requires additional verification (e.g. a one-time code), you'll be prompted to enter it on the next screen.
Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset instructions sent to your inbox.
Having trouble logging in? Make sure your email and password are correct. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you continue to have issues, use the password reset flow or contact support.
Setting Up Passkeys for Passwordless Login
GuardedContent supports passkeys, a modern authentication method that uses your device's biometrics (fingerprint, Face ID) or PIN instead of a password.
To set up a passkey:
Log in to your account and go to Settings.
Find the Security or Passkeys section.
Click Add Passkey and follow the on-screen prompts from your device.
Once registered, you can use the passkey the next time you log in by selecting Sign in with Passkey.
Passkeys are stored securely on your device and are not shared with GuardedContent's servers.
Requirements: Your device and browser must support WebAuthn/FIDO2 (supported on most modern browsers and devices).
Navigating the App
Once logged in, here's where to find everything:

Use the navigation bar at the top (or bottom on mobile) to move between sections.
Downloading the App
GuardedContent is available as a web app on MacOS and IOS in Safari or Google Chrome or is available as a downloadable desktop app.
For Windows GuardedContent is available as a downloadable desktop app only due to content restrictions

Mobile: Open your mobile browser and navigate to https://guardedcontent.com/downloads then select your platform to download the relevant app. (Currently only IOS is supported)
