How Subscriptions Work
When you subscribe to a creator on GuardedContent, you gain access to their exclusive content for as long as your subscription remains active.
Subscriptions are recurring — they renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
Access to subscription content is available immediately after payment.
If a subscription is cancelled or lapses, access to exclusive content will end at the close of the current billing period.
Creators set their own subscription prices and tiers.
Subscribing to a Creator
Visit the creator's profile page (e.g. /app/user/[username]).
Click the Subscribe button.
Review the subscription price and billing frequency.
Complete the Stripe checkout with your payment details.
Your subscription will activate immediately upon successful payment.
The creator's exclusive content will now be visible in your Feed.
Managing Your Active Subscriptions
Click on your profile picture then choose Transactions. This will show a list of all transactions made on the platform.
Then click Manage in the top left which take you to a screen with all active Subscriptions on the platform, in this screen you can view the
Creators Name
Subscription tier / price
Next billing date
Status (Active, Cancelled, Expired)

Subscription Renewal and Billing Cycle
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (e.g. monthly or annually, as set by the creator).
You'll be charged on the same date each period. For example, if you subscribed on the 10th, you'll be billed on the 10th of each month.
If a renewal payment fails, you'll receive an email notification. GuardedContent may retry the charge automatically. If the payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be suspended.
To update your payment method for renewals, go to Transactions -> Manage -> Update Payment Method.
Subscription Pricing Tiers
Creators on GuardedContent can set up multiple subscription tiers, each with different:
Monthly or annual pricing
Access levels (e.g. basic content vs. premium content)
Perks (e.g. early access, exclusive posts, direct messaging)
When subscribing, you'll see all available tiers on the creator's profile. Choose the tier that best suits you and click Subscribe.
You can typically upgrade or downgrade your tier from the subscription management page. Changes may take effect immediately or at the start of the next billing period depending on the creator's settings.
