Supported Payment Methods
All payments on GuardedContent are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
Accepted payment methods include:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit/debit cards
All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise noted. Currency conversion fees may apply depending on your card issuer.
Making a Purchase
To purchase content or a subscription:
Navigate to the creator's profile or the content you wish to purchase.
Click the Buy or Subscribe button.
Enter in your two factor verification code (this is required for all purchases on the platform.
A secure Stripe checkout window will appear.
Enter your card details (or select a saved payment method if applicable).
Click Pay to complete the purchase.
You will receive a confirmation email after a successful payment. The content or subscription will be activated immediately.
Purchases are final except where covered by our Refund Policy.
Viewing Your Transaction History
Log in to your account.
Click Transactions in the main navigation.
You'll see a list of all your transactions, including:
Date
Description (content title or creator name)
Amount charged
Payment status (Completed, Pending, Refunded)
You can click on any transaction to view more details or download a receipt.
Understanding Charges and Receipts
When you make a purchase on GuardedContent, the charge on your bank statement will appear as: GUARDEDCONTENT
Receipts:
A receipt is emailed to you after every successful transaction.
You can also download receipts from your Transactions page by clicking the transaction and selecting Download Receipt.
If you see an unexpected charge, check your Transactions page first, then contact support if it doesn't match any of your purchases.
Failed or Declined Payments
Summary: What to do when a payment doesn't go through.
If your payment fails, you'll see an error message during checkout. Common reasons include:
Reason | What to do |
Insufficient funds | Check your account balance or use a different card |
Card expired | Update your card details with your bank |
Incorrect card details | Double-check the card number, expiry date, and CVV |
Card blocked by bank | Contact your bank to authorise the transaction |
3D Secure / authentication required | Complete the bank authorisation prompt |
Retry the payment:
Close the checkout window.
Click Buy or Subscribe again.
Enter updated payment details.

Refund Policy and Requesting a Refund
Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis in line with our Refund Policy https://guardedcontent.com/refunds.
General guidelines:
Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the original purchase.
Refunds are typically not available for content that has already been accessed or downloaded.
Subscriptions that have already renewed are generally not eligible for a refund for that billing period.
